2615. Deputy Shane Cassells asked the Minister for Rural and Community Development the expenditure incurred in respect of external legal fees in each year since March 2011, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [32288/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department was established on 19 July 2017. Since that date it has incurred expenditure totalling €2,655 in respect of legal fees.
In 2018, the Department was assigned a designated point of contact for the provision of legal advice through the Office of the Attorney General, and it is intended that this service will provide for our ongoing requirements in this regard.
