Deputy Shane Cassells asked the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment if the consultant report will be provided for a project (details supplied); the cost of the report; if the costs of the report came from the funding allocated under the National Strategy for Angling Development 2015-2020; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraA screening for appropriate assessment was carried out in relation to the proposed works included in project reference no. SCF-17-0026 (Crolly River). This assessment concluded that there would be no significant impact on the Natura Sites in the vicinity of the works. I can provide a copy of this assessment to the Deputy for his information.
This assessment cost €2,398.50 including VAT to prepare. This was not funded from the allocation provided specifically for the National Strategy For Angling Development.
