392. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Skills the progress to date in the provision of replacement facilities and-or a new school at a school (details supplied); the degree to which agreement has been reached in respect of the scale of replacement works; if the project will be expedited in view of the condition of the facility there and the need to maintain health and safety standards; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Deputy will be aware that a building project for the school to which he refers is included in my Department's school building programme to be delivered as part of the National Development Plan.  As part of the preparatory work for the project, a site visit has been made to the school. My Department will continue to liaise directly with the school authority relating to the progression of the project.
