779. Deputy Sean Fleming asked the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment if additional resources will be provided to the Environmental Protection Agency in order to enable it to efficiently process applications it has on hand and continues to receive in respect of end of waste applications. In line with Section 29 of the Environment Protection Agency Act, 1992, as amended, it is a matter for the Environmental Protection Agency to determine the appropriate deployment of their approved human resources allocation. I therefore have no function in the matter.
