395. Deputy Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire asked the Minister for Education if her Department has examined the provision of an assessment tool (details supplied) in Irish schools; if so, the extent of this examination; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [47763/21]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department does not provide assessment instruments/tests to schools. Guidance on the use of assessment tools is provided to schools. Schools are advised to develop their own assessment policy setting out in detail the school’s policy on the use of tests - to include consent, administration, interpretation, retention, feedback and processing, in accordance with GDPR regulations.
