Deputy Matt Carthy asked the Minister for Health if his Department or the HSE has been in contact with dental treatment services scheme dental contractors to confirm whether they are currently providing dental treatment to medical card holders; the number of current dental treatment services scheme contractors that have been contacted if this regard; the dates of those contacts; the number of contractors who have indicated they are not currently providing treatment under the scheme but have not yet given notice to terminate their contract; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
