Deputy Michael Ring asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media the funding that has been provided to a project (details supplied); the funding commitment, if any, that has been committed towards long-term operational costs; and if she will make a statement on the matter. A capital grant of up to €2 million has been awarded to Mayo County Council towards the cost of this project, of which €1,568,292 has been drawn down to date. The long-term operational costs of the completed facility are matter for Mayo County Council.
