161. Deputy Michael McNamara asked the Minister for Transport when a person (details supplied) will be facilitated with a driving test; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [58523/22]

The Road Safety Authority (RSA) has statutory responsibility for the operation of the driving test. This includes all driving test applications and scheduling matters. I have no power to intervene in individual cases. I have referred this question to the Authority for direct reply.

I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response is not received within 10 days.
