205. Deputy Patricia Ryan asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science if, with regard to the now vacant old St. Paul's Community School building in Monasterevin, County Kildare, he will give consideration to its possible suitability for use as a centre for apprenticeships and-or further education courses. The potential use of a building is a matter for the ETB in the first instance.

I have requested my officials to engage with the Kildare and Wicklow ETB to establish their interest in the building referred to by the Deputy.  It is expected Solas will visit the site in a couple of weeks to assess the building.
