150. Deputy Michael Ring asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs if his Department can access a previously provided original document in respect of another application within his Department for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo, given the same document is required for their passport application and they cannot obtain another original copy of this document; and if he will make a statement on the matter. With regard to the issue outlined by the Deputy, it appears that the applicant submitted a document to the Department of Justice in the course of her naturalisation application. The Passport Service does not have access to documents submitted to the Department of Justice. 

It would be advisable for the applicant to contact the Department of Justice with regard to the document in question.
