Vol. 6 No. 10

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CLOGHEEN (TIPPERARY) ARMY ACCOUNT.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state why the balance of an account due to Mr. Thomas Ahearn, Victualler, Clogheen, Co. Tipperary, on account of supplies to the Military, amounting to £276 7s. 4d., for which a second account was furnished to the Quartermaster-General on the 12th December last, has not been paid?

The delay, which is regretted, in paying Mr. Ahearn is due to the difficulty of obtaining certification of his account. Settlement is being expedited.
