asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state why an old age pension has been withheld in respect of Michael Mahony, Moyarta, Co. Clare, notwithstanding the fact that his marriage certificate shows his age on marriage as thirty-two years and that his marriage took place in the year 1882.
CEISTEANNA.—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - OLD AGE PENSION WITHHELD.
This claim was disallowed on the ground of insufficient evidence to show that applicant had attained the statutory age. He was recorded as 22 years of age at his marriage on the 17th March, 1882, and not 32 years, as stated in the Deputy's question.
