Vol. 15 No. 20

QUESTIONS AND MINISTERIAL BUSINESS.

I move Motion No. 3:—

Go dtí an t-athló chun Sos an tSamhraidh agus in ainneoin éinní atá i mBuan-Ordú a 74, ná beidh ach Ceisteanna agus gnó Rialtais ar Riar Oibre na Céadaoine agus gnó Rialtais amháin ar Riar Oibre na hAoine.

That until the adjournment for the Summer Recess, and notwithstanding anything contained in Standing Order No. 74, the Order Paper on Wednesdays be confined to Questions and Ministerial business, and on Fridays to Ministerial business only.

There will, therefore, be no questions on the Order Paper for Monday or Friday.

Question put and agreed to.

How long will this arrangement last? It is really a curtailment of Private Members' rights.

The motion states that it will last until the adjournment for the Summer Recess— that is, according to the present idea, until the first week in July.

Order for Railways (Existing Officers and Servants) Bill, 1926 (Report), discharged; to be taken tomorrow.

The Dáil went into Committee.
