Vol. 21 No. 3

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - AFFORESTATION IN COUNTY WEXFORD.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if it is the intention of his Department to proceed with the planting of Forth Mountain, Wexford, during this season.

The reply is in the negative. In this connection I regret that I am not in a position at present to add anything to the reply given in July last to Deputy Doyle on this subject. The Forestry Bill referred to in that reply will be introduced at as early a date as practicable. There are legal difficulties which that will clear up.

Could the Minister give any idea as to when that Bill will be introduced? He has given the same answer two or three times already.

Mr. HOGAN

I should say within three or four months.
