asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether any system of road surfacing has been devised or is being experimented with which, while leaving the road suitable for motorists, would meet the objections of farmers as to the danger of tarred roads to horses, and would, at the same time, be reasonable in cost and maintenance; and, if not, whether the Minister has put this problem before the Road Surveyors of the country.
