The Land Commission are acquiring 347 acres of the lands of Goreybridge Mill Lands, Mount Alexander, Mucklow, Tomsilla Upper and Tomsilla Lower, from Lord Courtown who has accepted their offer to purchase which was for the lands as a whole and not for each townland. The Land Commission expect to be in a position to divide them at an early date. The lands of Clonatin do not form portion of Lord Courtown's Estate.
