Vol. 22 No. 6

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - LAND DISTRIBUTION (HEADFORD).

TOMAS MAC GIOLLA PHOIL

asked the Minister for Fisheries what steps, if any, are being taken to have the farms known as Kilmurray and Ballinakillew, in the Headford district, distributed; also those of Ross and Kiernann, in the same district.

The Land Commission have taken proceedings under Section 24 of the Land Act, 1923, for the acquisition of the lands of Cloonee comprising 157a. 3r. 5p. and Kilmurry comprising 50a. 3r. 33p. on the Estate of Henry Lynch and others, and also the lands of Ballinakillew on the Estate of Mrs. Mary McDonagh. The prices of these lands have been determined. The lands referred to as those of Ross and Kiernann cannot be identified.
