asked the Minister for Defence whether Timothy Healy, Teeling Street, Ballymote, is in receipt of a military service pension of £24 7s. 7d. per annum; and, if so, whether he will state the nature and duration of the service rendered by this man to entitle him to a military service certificate.

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The Board of Assessors reported to me that Mr. Healy rendered service of the nature required by sub-section (4) of Section 2 of the Military Service Pensions Act, 1924, in the periods from the 1st April, 1921, to the 30th June, 1922, and from the 18th July, 1922, to the 30th September, 1923.
