Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ballyhaunis Old Age Pensions Claim.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he is aware that Thomas Boyle, Kilgarriff, Coogne, Ballyhaunis, was recommended for an old age pension by the Ballyhaunis Sub-Committee in July, 1932; that the Pensions Officer appealed against the decision of the Sub-Committee; that the appeal is still pending; that claimant has complied with the requirements of the Old Age Pensions Act, 1932, and if he will state the cause of delay in deciding the appeal.

It has been decided that claimant is entitled to a pension of 8/- a week as from the 6th October, 1932.
