asked the Minister for Finance if he will state what sums have been paid into the Purchase Annuities Fund in the period 1st April, 1934, to 23rd February, 1935, setting out the sources and dates of payments of such sums, and what sums during the same period have been paid (1) into or otherwise disposed of for the benefit of the Exchequer and (2) into the Land Bond Fund; and further what sums were similarly paid for the years ended 31st March, 1933, and 31st March, 1934.

The Deputy appears to require information as to the amounts received (whether from purchasers or the Guarantee Fund) in respect of annuities due under the several Land Purchase Acts in the financial or Guarantee Fund years ended in 1933, 1934, and 1935, and the payment to or disposal otherwise for the benefit of the Exchequer of such annuities. If information on the above lines is what is needed, it will be supplied on a question being put down accordingly.
