asked the Minister for Defence whether an application has been received from Mrs. Mary English, Main Street, Tipperary, for compensation for the death of her son who was killed in the civil war; whether he is aware that the house of this applicant, who is a widow, was burnt by British forces and that the son for whose death she claims compensation was the only support of herself and young family; and, if so, if he will state when it is expected that a decision will be come to in the case.
