asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the amount of arrears of land annuities absorbed in the Guarantee Fund at the Guarantee Fund year ended 31st January, 1932, and for each of the years 1932-33 to 1936-37, the amounts (a) paid into the Guarantee Fund by way of moneys granted to local authorities in relief of rates on agricultural land; (b) withheld from local authorities to meet deficiencies in the Purchase Annuities Fund, and (c) subsequently recovered from the Purchase Annuities Fund on collection of arrears of annuities.

The amount of local taxation grants absorbed in the Guarantee Fund at 31st January, 1932, being the accumulated arrears of land purchase annuities at the said date made good from the Guarantee Fund, was £808,276.
