(4) The cost of administering the scheme for development of potato growing as a cash crop in the present season is estimated at some £10,000. This includes the cost of administering the Agricultural Produce (Potatoes) Act, 1931, and the Destructive Insects and Pests Acts, 1877-1939, as regards the disease of black scab in potatoes.
