Vol. 97 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Roscommon Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the net annual revenue, in each case, derived by the Land Commission from grazing and conacre lettings on the O'Malley and Poynton estates in County Roscommon.

The question appears to refer to the resumed holdings of P. O'Malley, taken over by the Land Commission in March, 1943, and of A. O'Malley, taken over in November, 1943, and to the resumed holding and untenanted land of J. Poynton, taken over in February, 1944. The net receipts from grazing and conacre lettings for the 12 months following date of taking possession by the Land Commission were respectively:—Estate of P. O'Malley, £48; estate of A. O'Malley, £85; estate of J. Poynton, £95.
