1. (a) The rates of pay for dental officers appointed subsequent to the 1st December, 1938, are:—

The additional rates of pay were not, however, payable.
2. All Officers receive a uniform allowance of £30 per annum; an emergency bonus of 11/- per week, if married, and 9/- per week if unmarried, and consolidated ration allowance, which at present is 2/7d. per day.
Married officers receive lodging, fuel and light allowance in lieu of quarters, fuel and light at the rate of 7/- per day.
3. The Irish Dental Association in 1939 expressed dissatisfaction with the conditions of service of Dental Officers.
