With your permission, Sir, I propose to circulate with the Official Report a table showing the production of root seeds in this country in each year since 1943.
The prices which the seed-producing companies pay to the farmers who produce seeds is a matter over which I exercise no authority, and I am not, therefore, in a position to give the Deputy the value of the seeds produced each year.
