asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware that the farm of land sold by Mr. Richard Barrett near Crossmolina to Mr. Loftus about a year ago is now being sold by Mr. Loftus and if he will state whether, in view of the congestion in the immediate vicinity of this farm and the number of uneconomic holdings in the Carrowkillen and other immediate townlands with valuations of from £2 to £8, the Land Commission have considered the propriety of acquiring this farm for division amongst those tenants; and, if so, with what result.
