asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware that an application was made two years ago for the repair of the Ballyledder link road, E.D. Kilgobnet, County Kerry; and, if so, if he will state whether a survey has been made and whether a grant under either the minor relief or rural improvement schemes has been recommended.

On the assumption that the road referred to by the Deputy may be described as follows: "from the county road near Jeremiah Shea's house, south-west to Shanerra Upper accommodation road near Dan Kissane's house," the area in which it is situated is not eligible for a full-cost grant as an employment scheme, but if an application is made under the rural improvements scheme, under the terms of which the benefiting landholders contribute a proportion of the cost, it will receive due consideration.
