asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that the delay in the introduction of proposals for housing legislation has meant that some people have deferred the erection of houses; and, if so, if he will take steps to introduce proposals for legislation forthwith or, if the proposals are not yet ready, if he will indicate whether any increase in the grants that may be payable will be available to those who now commence building.
