I am informed by the E.S.B. that the Rossmore area was recently considered for selection by the board for development under the rural electrification scheme but was not selected because the final return was unfavourable in comparison with that of other undeveloped areas in the same district. The question of the selection of the area will come up for consideration again, but I am unable to say when development is likely to take place.
