Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Finner Camp Tenders.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state (1) the number of tenders received for the supply of pitching stone, building stone, and two inch broken stone, at Finner Camp, County Donegal, (2) the names and addresses of the successful tenderers, (3) whether these were the lowest tenderers, and (4) if not, who were the lowest tenderers and why their tenders were not accepted.

Two tenders were received for the supply of 4" and 2" broken stone and large stone to Finner Camp, County Donegal.

The contract was placed with Mr. Michael Keane, The Patch, Bundoran, County Donegal, on the basis of the acceptance of the more favourable tender.

Was it the lowest tender?

Yes, the lowest tender.
