Following are the total amounts of the issues to the Cork County Council from the Local Loans Fund in the periods specified by the Deputy:— 1956-57, £544,000; 1957-58, £968,000; 1958-59, £522,000 (to 31-12-1958).
Would the Minister now consider it advisable to ask his colleague, the Minister for Local Government, to refrain from making statements calculated to suggest that there are limitless moneys available for local authorities when the figures prove otherwise?
