40.

asked the Minister for Education if he will state, with regard to industrial and reformatory schools, in the form of the table on page 137 of the Annual Report of his Department for the year 1959-60, the numbers of children who left these schools, their mode of leaving, and the occupations taken up by those who left to take up employment during (a) the year 1960-61 and (b) the year 1961-62.

The following tables give the information requested by the Deputy:—
