asked the Minister for Education whether his attention has been drawn to the presidential address given on 17th April by the President of the Association of Secondary Teachers (Ireland), in particular with regard to the building and upkeep of secondary schools; whether his Department have under consideration any plans for the participation of the State in the cost of building and maintenance of secondary schools; and, if not, whether he will initiate such a plan.
