I am informed by Bord na Móna that it is their intention to commence development of Bellair bog during the coming year.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power if Bord na Móna propose to develop the bog at Laughil and Ballynahown, comprising approximately 300 acres on the Offaly-Westmeath border; and if development work is likely to commence this year in order to provide much needed employment in the area.
I am informed by Bord na Móna that they have no plans to develop this bog.
