Land Commission records are not compiled by reference to constituency areas. For the administrative county of Kildare, however, the particulars requested are set out in a tabular statement which I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle to circulate with the Official Report.

asked the Minister for Lands the total acreage of land held by the Land Commission in the constituency of East Galway.
Land Commission records are not compiled by reference to constituency areas. Perhaps, however, it would meet the Deputy's requirements to know that in County Galway as a whole the Land Commission have at present on hands— apart from substantial areas of mountain, turbary, etc.—an aggregate of some 4,000 acres of arable lands for use as a working pool for land settlement in that county.
74.
asked the Minister for Lands the amount of land held by his Department in County Wexford, the period for which this land has been held, and the number of estates it comprises.
The Land Commission have at present on hands in County Wexford an aggregate area of some 1,500 acres, comprised in 11 estates or holdings—all of which, apart from a 113-acre residue, came into their possession since 9th February, 1962.
I may say that the total area allotted in County Wexford in the year ended 31st March last was approximately 850 acres.
