Mr. P. Hogan

(South Tipperary) asked the Taoiseach the relative annual value in this country's export trade over the past decade of (a) agricultural products, including forestry and fishing, (b) industrial products and (c) other unclassified products.

With your permission, Sir, I propose to circulate in the Official Report a statement showing the information requested in respect of each year 1958 to 1964 and in the period January-October 1965. The system of classification used is that adopted for the purposes of the Second Programme for Economic Expansion and comparable data for earlier periods are not available.

(South Tipperary) asked the Taoiseach if he will state this country's annual exports by number or weight as appropriate over the past decade for cattle, classified as stores, fat, bullock and others, sheep classified as stores and others, beef, fresh and frozen, mutton, bacon, and pork; and the annual value of these exports in each category.
