I propose with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to take Questions Nos. 54, 55, 56, 57 and 58 together.

The Holidays (Employees) Act, 1961, administered by my Department, gives the workers to whom it applies a right to two weeks annual holidays with pay and also entitlements in respect of six public holidays. Holidays in excess of the statutory minimum would be a matter for negotiation between the employers and workers.

The detailed information sought by the Deputy as to the numbers of workers with two, three and four weeks holidays is not available to my Department.
