There are no plans for a sewerage scheme for Oranmore before my Department. Outline proposals for a scheme, which were received in my Department in July, 1965, were referred back to the sanitary authority on 20th August, 1965, for additional technical data. I understand that the local authority now propose to appoint a consulting engineer to prepare a full report on a position to say when work on this scheme for the area. I am not in a position to say when work on this scheme will start.
