Vol. 232 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Health Centre.

42.

asked the Minister for Health if, having regard to the urgent need for a new health centre at North Strand, Dublin, he will now approve the plans for it.

The sketch plans submitted by Dublin Health Authority for a new health centre at the North Strand have been under examination by my Department. If the project were to proceed on the lines of those plans the cost would be very high, and in order to ensure that only essential accommodation is provided it is necessary to have further consultation with the health authority. Arrangements have accordingly been made for an early meeting between officers of the health authority and of my Department.
