The question of the establishment of local information centres is for the local authority. I have no proposals from them in the matter. I understand, however, that they indicated some time ago that arrangements were being made to provide an information service in branch libraries.
Can the Minister state what progress has been made?
I have not got any proposals from them.
Would they come from Dublin Corporation? The demand is there from the public and would it not indicate that they should be provided?
