The roadway concerned, which leads from the level crossing to the factories behind the West Pier, is not the responsibility of any Department of State. It is the property of Dún Laoghaire Borough Corporation.
Is the Parliamentary Secretary aware that Dún Laoghaire Borough Corporation disclaim responsibility for it? I understand the Office of Public Works carry out certain repairs and so do Dún Laoghaire Borough Corporation, yet neither of them accept responsibility. Would the Parliamentary Secretary discuss the matter with the corporation?
