The fishery research vessel Cú Feasa is not armed. Its speed is 10.2 knots.
There was one officer of the Naval Service serving on board the vessel as sea fisheries protection officer while it was made available recently for a short period for fishery patrol duties, arising from the temporary withdrawal from service of a naval service corvette for routine boiler-cleaning.
I might add that this corvette resumed fishery patrol duties on the 12th instant and the Cú Feasa was withdrawn from these duties on the same day.
