A decision has been taken to erect a new national school at Shinrone but the extent of the accommodation to be provided in the proposed new building cannot be decided pending an investigation as to whether another school in the same parish should be amalgamated with Shinrone national school in the new building. This matter will be brought to decision as quickly as possible and the further arrangements for the new school at Shinrone will then be undertaken.
I am unable to say, at this stage, when building work may commence.
