I understand that the Greenmount and Boyne Linen Co. Ltd. held a press reception on 1st July, 1970, at which they announced the opening of a new factory at Kingscourt for the manufacture of dresses, jeans and jackets. I have no further information on the matter.
Could I ask the Minister when he will be in a position to give us some more definite information?
As soon as the proposal is actually ready to go ahead. There is a degree of confidentiality required between the proposed industrialist and the IDA and this confidentiality must be respected.
