asked the Minister for Education whether he has received an application for the provision of suitable facilities and a teacher to cater for special students at Tallaght national school, Dublin; and, if so, if he will indicate the present position.
Ceisteanna—Questious. Oral Answers. - Tallaght (Dublin) School.
20.
I received an application some time ago for the recognition of a special class for slow-learning pupils in Tallaght boys' national school. One of the inspectors was asked to investigate the question of special facilities for both the boys' and girls' schools in Tallaght; but because he was fully engaged on other duties in the Department he was unable to carry out the required survey up to now.
I am arranging that an inspector's report will be made available at an early date and a decision on the application will then be taken in the light of the report.
