I do not at present consider it necessary to increase the number of constables in the Phoenix Park. Isolated incidents of vandalism or disorder occur from time to time but it would not be practicable to guard against every such incident. The question of security is kept under constant review and all practical steps will be taken to prevent misuse of the park by any person or groups of persons.
