Vol. 255 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary Dwelling House.

46.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission will give details of proposals to provide a suitable dwelling house and outhouses to meet the needs of a person (name supplied) in County Tipperary; the reason for the delay involved; and when the work will be completed.

I would refer the Deputy to my reply of 1st July, 1970, to his previous question about this matter. I find that the situation has not altered materially since then. The attitude of the Land Commission remains that they are prepared, as they always have been, to carry out any necessary repairs. However, in view of the particular circumstances of this case and the length of time the matter has been in dispute, I have decided to ask the Land Commission to reconsider the whole question as sympathetically as possible to see whether a solution acceptable to both parties cannot be found. I will advise the Deputy of the result.
