The Convention concerning the Protection of the World Culture and Natural Heritage was adopted by the UNESCO General Conference on 16th November, 1972. States may become parties to it by the deposit of an instrument of ratification or acceptance.
The question of ratification or acceptance by this country is at present under active consideration and it is expected that a decision will shortly be taken by the Government.
