The total allocation made to Dundalk Urban District Council for the local authority housing construction programme in 1975 was £1,716,000 and their total authorised expenditure, including overdraft, is £1,826,000. I am informed by the housing authority that expenditure in the period from 1st January to 19th November, 1975, amounted to £1,527,734. The information requested in (c) of the question is not available in my Department. The housing authority have recently estimated that expenditure on local authority housing in the period from 20th November to 31st December, 1975, is likely to be of the order of £220,000.
